The author of this article says that, because of this incident, both the AL and the NL should use designated hitters.
Now, I won’t offer my personal opinion on why this guy is an idiot for believing that members of a team should have one job and one job only and that baseball players are all delicate little flowers who should never have to bunt, slide, hit, or run if they don’t want to but I am curious to hear what our followers think.
